Annual Evidence Update on Inflammatory Bowel Disease: 21-25 March 2011

An update of the evidence on this topic from NHS Evidence - gastroenterology and liver diseases

The fifth Annual Evidence Update (AEU) on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) will present the results of the Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Project Team’s systematic search to update the results of the 2010 AEU. As in previous years, guidelines, systematic reviews, health technology assessments and economic evaluations retrieved have been read and appraised for their validity and relevance to the busy clinician by leading IBD experts from around the UK. A list of the papers deemed worthy of inclusion, along with expert commentaries by our reviewers, will be freely available on the site at http://www.library.nhs.uk/gastroliver from 21 March. Any uncertainties identified from included papers will also be made available (see www.library.nhs.uk/duets for more details).

Annual Evidence Update on Inflammatory Bowel Disease: 23-27 March 2009

An update of the evidence on this topic from the NLH Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Specialist Library.

The NLH Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Specialist Library project team has carried out a systematic search on Inflammatory Bowel Disease to identify all high level evidence published in the past year, namely guidelines, systematic reviews, health technology assessments and economic evaluations. Leading experts from around the UK have read and appraised these for their validity and relevance to the busy clinician. A list of the most useful papers, along with commentary from the experts, will be available on the site from 23rd March.

Annual Evidence Update on Inflammatory Bowel Disease: 10-14 March 2008

The NLH Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Specialist Library has prepared an Annual Evidence Update on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to coincide with the British Society of Gastroenterologists’ conference. The project team has carried out a systematic search to identify all systematic reviews published in the past year. Leading experts from around the UK have read and appraised these for their validity and relevance to the busy clinician. A list of the most useful papers, along with commentary from the experts, will be available on the site from 10th March.
