National Knowledge Week on Oral Cancer: 12-16 November 2007

The Oral Cancer Knowledge week provides a review of the evidence base on this topic produced by the NLH Oral Health Specialist Library. It is timed to coincide with Mouth Cancer Awareness Week. Evidence will be presented in a range of summaries linked to up-to-date high quality systematic reviews and guidance on the following topics:

* risk factors
* prevention
* diagnosis
* treatment and management

In addition, a comprehensive resource page will provide quick links to relevant sites including patient information and organisations working in this area.

NKW on COPD - postponed!

Dear all
The National Knowledge Week on COPD, due to take place next week (from 12th November), has been postponed until the New Year - apologies for the short notice of this, it's due to some last-minute contact with the team working on the COPD NSF, and wanting to tie all the work being done together.
As soon as we have a confirmed date for the re-scheduled week, we'll let you know.
