This year's update on chest pain is linked directly to the NICE guideline published last year. The NHS Evidence - cardiovascular team, based at the University of Surrey, have undertaken detailed searches and critical appraisal of new systematic reviews and randomised trials covering the spectrum from assessment to early management of this common condition. The findings have been put into clinical context by expert reviewers from emergency medicine, cardiology, cardiovascular imaging and nursing.
