Library funding study nears completion

On January 12th the Library Funding Study Project Board, chaired by Pam Prior, met with Robert Huggins Associates to discuss progress. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed - there has been near universal returns via the LKDN collection mechanism. Over the next few weeks the report will be completed, before going to a QA panel, before a final version is submitted to the project board.

NHS Copyright Licence

Responsibility for Copyright licensing has been transferred to the National Programme for IT but is being managed as part of the NLH. The existing license between the NHS and the Copyright License Agency has been renewed until March 2005. A new license is being negotiated. The next meeting is scheduled for 19 January.
