Annual Evidence Update on Prostate Cancer: 10-14 March 2008

The NLH Cancer Specialist Library will present its National Knowledge Week on Prostate Cancer from 10th March. It will cover the evidence on the following aspects of prostate cancer:

• Causes, risks and prevention (diet and nutrition, chemoprevention and screening)
  
• Assessment and diagnosis (biochemical, genetics, cellular/histopathology, diagnostic imaging, staging and physical examination)
  
• Treatment and disease management (biological therapy, chemotherapy, hormone and other drug therapy, radiotherapy, surgery, follow-up etc)
  
• Service delivery and standards (economic assessment)
