Osteoporosis and Fragility Fractures National Knowledge Week: 3rd - 7th September 2007
The aim of the National Knowledge Week is to present the latest available evidence and information for osteoporosis and fragility fractures. Previous articles written for the 2006 National Knowledge Week have been reviewed and updated by the experts representing the different professional groups involved in osteoporosis and fragility fractures. Each article is accompanied by supporting evidence focusing in particular on evidence published within the last year – there may be further information available within the Osteoporosis section of the Musculoskeletal Specialist Library and the Metabolic Bone Disease section of the Trauma & Orthopaedics Specialist Library. An additional new feature this year is an Annual Evidence Update. This represents the outcome of a detailed search of the literature published in the last 12 months up to the end of May 2007.
