Annual Evidence Update on HIV/AIDs: 30 November - 4 December 2009

An update of the evidence on this topic from NHS Evidence - infections.

The Infections Specialist Collection is launching its second Annual Evidence Update on HIV on 30th November 2009 to coincide with World AIDS Day on 1st December 2009.
This year’s focus is on HIV and children, due to the publication in 2009 on guidance around the testing of children with HIV positive parents. Sub topics within this will include:

• Mother to child transmission
• HIV testing in children
• Management of HIV in adolescents and children.
  

Experts in the field will be providing summaries on these subtopics, and links to other useful websites will also be available.
