Online training for library paraprofessionals

The FOLIO programme is now taking registrations from paraprofessionals, library assistants and counter staff for FRONTIER: The FOLIO Customer Care Course - running from 11 April-20 May 2005 (including a 2 week break 25 April-6 May).

The course is delivered through daily emails over a 4 week period and involves brief exercises to be done either individually or with a “buddy”. PLEASE NOTE: Participation in this course requires that you identify a partner WITHIN THE SAME ORGANISATION (your definition) with whom you will share in the course. Course places will thus be allocated in pairs. Places are available without charge to any paraprofessional staff working in a library serving staff employed in the NHS.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

• Pair up with another library paraprofessional within your organisation
  
• Obtain your line manager’s approval to participate in the course.
